On the class wiki site, post your favorite new Web 2.0 tool that has not been covered in detail in this class that you have discovered in this course or elsewhere. List the URL, what the tool is, and why you find it useful using the wiki template page. No duplication allowed-each page must be an original new tool. This can be done after reviewing the Unit 9 material, which covers more Web 2.0 resources.
The site has both a free version and a paid version. I can only discuss the free version because I don't have any experience with the paid version. This site allows you to keep all of your notes, images, documents, and web clips in one location. The website is easy to navigate and it as free. Collaboration is allowed through the sharing of information via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and email. It is appropriate for use in school by both students and teachers. I don't think it would be useful at the elementary level but I could see middle school and high school students using it.
Educational Uses of Site
Students could use this to take notes and keep information for upcoming projects. They can organize their notes by class and share with their peers.
Review of Site
I could see myself using the site as an undergrad! It would have been wonderful to save videos from class and to take notes electronically. The layout of the website makes it user friendly. I think it would be great for high school students but I honestly don't know if they would use it or not.
